Sean Connolly - Msc Bacomn

Sean 'Coach' Connolly has an extensive background in exercise science, high performance, sports nutrition and the development of elite athletes playing all over the globe. He earned his Masters In Exercise Science from Edith Cowan University in 2010 and has spent most of his time working with men and women all over the globe searching for the edge in their sport. 

Having spent over 10 years training athletes across 7 different sports at a state, national and international level, Sean's has proven himself to be one of the most innovative and sought after strength and conditioning coaches in basketball here in Australia. Athletes that have engaged Sean's expertise have worked and played in the NBA, NCAA, NBL, WNBL, Euro League and the SBL.

Sean is also the Head of High Performance at the World Basketball Academy based out of Perth, Australia.

Dr. Tania Spiteri - Phd

Dr. Tania Spiteri earned her PhD at Edith Cowan University in Perth Australia, completing research in the area of Sports Biomechanics, Strength and Conditioning and Motor Control. Her research focuses around performance based differences in change of direction, agility, decision-making, strength and neuromuscular strategies between genders and level of expertise in various high performance sports.

Tania is engaged in a variety of ongoing research collaborations with universities, sporting organisations and high performance institutes across Australia, the United States and England including the West Australian Institute of Sport, NFL, WNBA/NBA, Purdue University (Sports Performance), the University of Louisville (Sports Performance), and the English Institute of Sport. As a result of her research achievements Tania was recently awarded the Young Investigator of the Year Award by the National Strength and Conditioning Association in the United States. Tania currently coordinates and lectures in the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within the school of Health Science at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Wesley Salisbury- BSc Hons

Since completing his Bachelor of Science in Sport Science, Exercise and Health at UWA in 2013 and Honours in Exercise Physiology in 2014, Wes has worked extensively in the Strength and Conditioning industry here in Perth. While finalising his PhD (Exercise Physiology) at UWA, Wes has headed up the S&C department of clubs in both the SBL and WAFL competitions, helping athletes to further their athletic and competitive abilities. Wes also has experience with professional athletes in the AFL and NBL. While gaining experience in professional strength and conditioning, Wes is also training and competing as a national level decathlete. Aiming to further his own personal bests and compete with the best athletes Australia and Oceania has to offer.
